JT’s Back Porch Sessions at Leisure

Three Sundays in November, JT & the Mudbugs are taking over Leisure Public House for a little musical experiment.

We’re getting the band together — JT on guitar and vocals, Frankie Hernandez on drums, Ray Mann on bass, Andy Emert on fiddle, plus a different special guest each week — as we work toward recording a new batch of songs later this year.

We’ll try out some brand-new songs, shake up the arrangements of some old ones, play a few favorites, and see what happens when we put them in front of a live audience.

And here’s the fun part: you get to help us decide what makes the record.

We’ll be listening to what gets people moving, what gets people singing, what songs you ask for again, and what arrangements seem to have a little magic in them.

Our first special guest is Pacific Northwest mandolin legend Spud Siegel. More guests will be announced as the series unfolds.

Come hang out, have a drink, hear some music, and help us figure out what comes next.
