Ozark Original was recorded live, off the floor, in a single afternoon.

Four musicians. Two microphones. One living room.
No overdubs, no edits, no fixes. What you hear is what happened in the room.

The session was treated as documentation rather than production. The goal wasn’t perfection, but capture — songs as they existed that day, played by people listening closely to one another. Tempos breathe. Dynamics shift. Arrangements resolve themselves in real time.

Some of these songs have been played for years, some were still finding their shape. All of them were recorded under the same constraint: once the tape was rolling, there was no safety net. That pressure changed the way everyone played, for the better.

This record lives somewhere between front-porch folk, western swing, and early Americana radio sessions — closer in spirit to a field recording than a modern studio album. It’s not meant to be definitive or polished. It’s meant to be honest.

A snapshot of a moment.
Thanks for listening the same way.

This edition also features six bonus tracks: original home-recorded demos for several of the album’s compositions. Included with the download is a digital liner note booklet featuring high-res artwork and expanded credits.
